Letting Go of Control
Painted my fill; time to make something more substantial for the portfolio. Third photobash of my life — a 3D block-out would have made it easier, so I’m a couple of steps closer to Blender. I want to draw faster, so I can finish personal work while still riding the emotion I started on.
2026 keeps touching the thing itself for me — that famous need for control — and so much of what happens is uncontrollable (I certainly can’t govern life and death, though I’ve tried more than once) that it has led to almost fully letting go of it. If I can’t, I can’t. What I can do is draw pictures a little better than before. And then a little better still.
